Very cool jointGreat food, service, and prices
Stop doing whatever you're doing and go to Simeri's Beardsley Street Tavern. Order the sirloin steak sandwich with sauteed onions and mushrooms. Just 8.95 with a big bowl of soup or fries. If you know of a better deal within 100 miles, let me know... I will go try it...and if you're right I will buy you lunch!
Another treasure in Elkhart. Many people, regulars and newcomers alike, come here to drink a few beers, play shuffleboard, karaoke, and eat pretty good food. Mandy was a beautiful bartender, made me felt very welcome. It was very quiet with a few people, which is what I needed. Their food was terrific, even though it was lunch, but I know that dinner is going to be sensational. Don't forget to tip Mandy when you go to Simeri's!
Go there on Fridays for the unlimited fried fish! Deep fried battered pollock, yum! Though i have never made it past 2 plates lol They have some awesome burgers as well...try the italian burger. And some salad options too. Staff is fun and friendly and upbeat.
On my visit, it sure seems to be a good place to watch racing and sports. Really good pricing on a wide open menu, so.ething for everyone if you ask me.... I had the burger of the week, a 1/2 pound burger with red sauce, pepperoni, and a pretzel bun, while the Mrs had the Ribs N Chicken special which both turned out really great. The owner came.iver and introduced himself, and the rest is now history. It is totally recommended for convenience, a quick meal and down to earth venue, and pricing.
Haven't tried their food yet but both times I've been in the area I stop in for a few drinks. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Love that they have darts and pull tabs.
That hometown feel where the owner walks around, making sure customers have a good time and everything is right.
Went to see Tege play, place was almost full but able to get a seat at bar. Promptly waited on with a smile. Got a table and server made some food recommendations. The specials sounded so good so we each ordered one. Food was hot and fresh and very good portions. Had some more drinks and visited with friends. Very affordable drinks and the waitresses all worked together to take care of the patrons. Don’t know when we will go back but looking forward to trying more food as everything looked so good.
